Don't think I've heard that one.
The house where I grew up was near a convent, so we were used to seeing loads of nuns walking along the street. My dad hated nuns and priests because after his mum died he and his siblings were raised in a Catholic orphanage. This was between the wars and they were sadistic. Whenever the nuns would go past he would say to me and my mum "There goes a nun wot ain't 'ad nun"
I was in my early twenties when the penny finally dropped.

Would it bother me? No. Would the circus following it? Yes.
What I mean about the circus is the media, social media and support groups gathering around and making a bigger deal of it than necessary. Cunts like the Pride of Irons (grasses) sticking their ore in.
If a player is gay, good for him, just show up weekly, don't make a huge deal about it though the media and social media and get on with you job and you'll have my support. Come out in a big public way so people fawn over you and call you 'brave', then you can fuck off.

I’m surprised someone hasn’t come out whilst playing yet. It’s a huge money spinner. Over night they’d be picking up sponsorship deals with brands falling over themselves to show they’re ‘forward thinking’.
Plus once retired, he’d 100% be picked up by broadcasters to be a pundit.

There will be some piss taking chants from the terrace, but that's because fans will latch onto anything, literally anything and take the piss.
After a while the gay stuff (especially when a few players come out) won't even register.
Personally i couldn't give a fuck who puts what where as long as it's legal.
